Introduction
- Entities hold durable application data.
- APIs run request-driven backend workflows.
- Pages are built visually and connected through Page Script.
The App Model
App Marché projects combine stored data, backend behavior, and visual pages. Nenu provides the typed data and workflow model; NenuDB persists entity records; the App Marché editor presents these capabilities as project nodes and visual connections.
- Entities define durable records, constraints, and indexes.
- APIs validate input, read or update entities, and return typed results.
- Pages are assembled on the canvas and connected to state and APIs through Page Script.
- Crons and listeners model scheduled and event-driven backend work.
Visual And Backend Boundaries
Use the canvas to arrange page elements. Use Plug mode to connect values, actions, navigation, and API calls. Backend nodes own durable data and business workflows; pages should call APIs instead of performing storage work directly.
