Getting Started
- Create the data model.
- Add a typed backend workflow.
- Connect a page form to that workflow in Plug mode.
1. Create The Entity
Add an Entity node named Feedback. Keep only durable feedback values in this record; form state belongs to the page.
1entity Feedback {2 message: string3 source: string4 archived: bool5}2. Create The API
Add an API node at feedback/create. Define message and optional source request fields, then define success and message response fields. The runnable source creates and saves the record.
1string source = request.source ?? "website"23Feedback feedback = Feedback {4 message: request.message.trim()5 source6 archived: false7}89save(feedback)1011return Response {12 success: true13 message: "Feedback saved"14}3. Connect The Page
Create a page, place an input, button, and status text on the canvas, then switch to Plug mode. Bind the input to page state, connect the button to the feedback/create API, map the input value into message, and show the returned message in the status text.
- Use canvas layout controls for visual structure.
- Use Page Script blocks for page-local state and the submit action.
- Use the API contract to map request values and read the typed response.
- Preview the flow, then inspect diagnostics if a binding or contract is incomplete.
